Melissa Porembiak LLPC, NCC

 

Melissa is a graduate of Oakland University’s Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She is also a licensed ABA therapist. Melissa strives to work alongside clients with a holistic approach to help achieve their goals. Melissa has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, autism, and developmental delays. Melissa believes that each client should receive an individualized approach to therapy, and she will work as a team with the client to develop personalized goals that lead to a healthier, more positive lifestyle. Melissa enjoys using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients adjust maladaptive thoughts and behaviors and find ways to work through their challenges. Most important to Melissa is building a positive, trusting, nonjudgmental relationship with her clients, allowing clients to feel safe in therapy. Melissa will assist her clients as they walk the path towards healing and healthy change.
